"What a colorful funeral" acrylic painting. I’ve been thinking about the 3 oil spills last month in the Delaware River just upstream of my hometown. driving over the bridge often I admire the beautiful sunsets over the river and notice how often there is more smoke causing the lovely colors in the sky than clouds. the chemical and nuclear plants spewing out smoke and fire into the air, chem trails from the airport, and the river trapped in the middle slowly being suffocated, still reflecting the colorful skies in her choppy dirty water.

New baby succulent cuttings and air plants are doing great in my glass terrariums!

Glass Deer head terrarium, haven’t painted the wood base yet. It has moss, crystals and a tiny succulent inside that can only be seen through the eyes and mouth.

Glass Coral Reef!
Myself and 3 of my classmates worked as a team on this project. We poured hot glass over crushed glass to make the base of each reef. Each coral was hot sculpted individually and then brought back up to temperature and hot attached to the base, some were also cold attached later. We borrowed two fishtanks and got some sand from the river for the class setup and a had a projector of underwater scenes behind it.

Wire wrapping lots of stuff.

So my boyfriend submitted an essay and was chosen to participate in glass artist Josh Simpson’s Infinity Project!
The project involves hiding one of Simpson’s glass planet marbles in a special place to be found someday in the future. Our photographer friend, Tyler Philips, accompanied us to hide the planet at a special place in White Clay Creek Park, PA.
